Low on Water
Published August 29th, 2007
The Douglas County Sentinel is reporting today that the Dog River Reservoir has reached its lowest level ever and demand is higher than supply, even with purchasing water from the Cobb-Marietta Water Authority. As the water supply shrinks, aesthetic problems like odor and taste will ensue.

Why is the wsa still allowing sod installations? New sod installations are exempt from the watering ban. I know, installing new sod in the middle of a drought seems like a “duh” move; but there is a subdivision off Brookmont Pky that is installing sod this week - and they are watering away.
