Blood Drive

From the BOC Work Session Agenda for July 2nd:
Douglas County will host a special blood drive for the American Red Cross in Citizen’s Hall of the Courthouse on Thursday, July 12th, to collect Type “O” blood. The blood drive will be from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and citizens are encouraged to call 1-800-GIVE LIFE to schedule an appointment to donate blood. During the summer, blood supplies are at their lowest, and Type “O” blood is the universal blood type that can be used in multiple situations.
